Hi everyone,

Im fundraising to support the Mark Hughes Foundation (MHF) and it's mission to find a cure for brain cancer.

For those who may not know me or my story, my name is Mihikore, and I’m a proud partner and mother of three beautiful girls, living in Brisbane, QLD. Life has taken me on an unexpected journey, and I’m here to share my story. In November 2023, I was diagnosed with a rare form of Stage 3 Brain Cancer. I had to undergo Emergency Brain surgery at Mater Hospital, and since then, my recovery has been filled with uncertainty, fear, and countless hurdles. Throughout this journey though, I’ve learned to take things one day at a time, leaning on the love and support of my whānau (family), friends, and the incredible people around me who help keep my spirits high. Thank you to the MHF, who have been by my side, helping me stay strong throughout this experience.

This April 2025, I’m stepping out of my comfort zone to join 19 incredible women on a 6 Day Trek through New Zealand's Southern Alps 🥾⛰️ This journey is a collective effort—a chance for us to raise awareness, support vital research, and bring hope to everyone touched by Brain Cancer. Your encouragement means everything to me and my family, and I hope our journey inspires strength and resilience in others who are walking this difficult road.
